Started in 2019 under Bravo shoes in order to help and sensitize people about feet related issues especially people living with diabetes. Through regular monitoring of your foot health, podiatrists help maintain the mobility of many elderly and disabled people and others with mobility or flexibility issues in partnership with our referral footcare clinic.
If you are diabetic, we advise to visit a podiatrist regularly. Our Clinic is one of the few in Uganda to use a nerothesiometer. This state of the art machine measures the level at which you can feel vibration. This indicates whether you suffer from peripheral neuropathy which can cause decreased sensation in your feet. Having peripheral neuropathy puts your feet at increased risk of infections due to injury.
